Consulting :

CST performs technology infrastructure and solutions audits in order to advise our clients on the best of the breed and future state of play of their technology. This audit may involve the evaluation of the current processes, the technical infrastructure, identification of technical gaps, license commitment audits and the provision of intelligent solutions to any issues found. In many cases, our clients have implemented solutions over the years that simply no longer make sense…. or in some cases are paying licenses for technology that is now obsolete. This is where CST can add value during a technical audit. CST will provide a current state assessment, and recommend a future state based on technology directions and business present and future requirements.

Infrastructure Architecture:

CST designs and implements forward thinking infrastructure solutions and advice clients on current state of play. It is clear that the technology of the future is both cognitive and distributed. To take advantage of this technology future CST positions its clients but gradually moving them to a more distributed approach to infrastructure including failover. This is critical if organizations are to take advantage of a more distributed approach to technology…which streamlines their technology landscape and provides the bases to flexibility in the future.

Process Automation:

CST leverages its artificial intelligence expertise to automate business process and IT functions for clients. The solutions CST implements cover the full spectrum of data processing, from the infrastructure it rests on, the source of data collection and its use by the business in combination with other seemingly disparate data sources. In so doing client processes are automated and made cognitive to provide the business with a more cohesive view of not just their data but a more enjoyable working experience as a result. As an example, while many systems will require user input to create reporting capabilities, the CST approach is to have the business configure reports once and leave the system to monitor the data…learn from it and provide reporting based on metadata configured by the business. On a recent project that simple change was the difference between a team spending 2 weeks creating reports…and just allowing the CST system to create the required reports, each time reports were needed. This is the kind of measurable value the CST cognitive technology approach can bring to its clients.

Predictive Data Analytics:

CST creates systems that collect, process, analyze, learn and predict data both structured and unstructured data. This data may come from social media, oil pipelines, and wells, Intelligence drone data, financial transactions…to name a few. The idea is to think about CST solutions as brains that can analyze and learn any type of data in any industry. What we do is to customize our solutions to suit particular business needs. In addition, our system will learn previously unrecognizable trends in the client data thus putting real business intelligence at the client’s fingertips. Again, here it is important to recognize the difference between rules-based systems and cognitive systems such as CST builds. As an example, a rule-based system can be made to produce information based on a set of circumstances. This is how most systems work today. Cognitive systems can do that but in addition, learn other patterns in the data and in so doing identify more scenarios our clients should care about. It will also use existing data to predict the future of that data in concert with other data sources. This approach supports stakeholder decisions and monitoring of business processes for efficiency and improvement.
